Vilnius Airport (VNO)

Location: The airport is situated 7km of Vilnius center.

To get to Vilnius International Airport, you can use public transport (scheduled buses, scheduled taxi (vans), train, taxi) or come by car.

City buses No. 1 and No. 2 provide a service to the airport. The bus fare in Vilnius city is 2 Litas if purchased at newspaper kiosks or 2.5 Litas if bought directly from a driver. The fares and schedules can be found at www.vilniustransport.lt

A scheduled taxi is a fast way to come to the airport.

A special scheduled train runs from Vilnius Railway Station to the airport. The railway stop, stairs, and passenger lift are installed just outside the airport terminal, as well as lighting and a video surveillance system for the safety of passengers. A covered pedestrian walkway connects the airport terminal with the railway stop and is lighted during the night. The train fare is 2.5 Litas. The train schedule can be found at www.litrail.lt

The airport can be reached by cabs of any of the taxi companies servicing the city. Taxis can be found curbside nearby the arrival terminal.

If you arrive by car, you can leave it at one of the 6 parking lots. Parking cost is 4-5 Litas per hour and 24-25 Litas per day.

Kaunas Airport (KUN)


Location: The airport is situated 15km north of Kaunas center, Karmelava, Lithuania

Getting to the city: City bus No. 29 connects Kaunas Airport and Kaunas city going on the route: Train station - Bus station - Savanoriu ave. - Kaunas Airport. Taxis are plentiful outside arrivals. Express shuttle bus takes one-hour drive to Vilnius and 2,5 hour drive to Klaipėda.
Car rental: Car rental agents with offices on site in the arrivals lounge are Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Fortuna Rent a Car, Autobanga Rent a Car, Ollex, Autocom.lt, Aviaeuropa and Aruna LT.
Facilities: There is a currency exchange counter in the arrivals, Duty free shop in departures, souvenirs shops, news stand, cafes and bars in the terminal.
Parking: Short and long term parking is available.

Palanga Airport (PLQ)


Location: The airport is situated 7 km north of Palanga centre and 35 km north of Klaipeda centre, Lithuania

Getting to/from: in order to get to/from International Palanga Airport, you can use public transport, taxi or come by car.

•§  Public transport connects Palanga Airport and Palanga city going on the route Šventoji - Palanga airport - Palanga; there is public transport available from Palanga centre to Klaipeda.

•§  Taxis are available outside arrivals.

•§  Car rental: Car rental agents with offices on site in the arrivals lounge are Hertz, Europcar, Avis (no office on site), SIXT rent a car (no office on site).

•§  Parking: Short and long term parking is available. Parking cost is 3 Lt per hour, 10 Lt per day, 182 Lt per month.

 

Facilities: there is a currency exchange counter in the arrival hall, Duty free and souvenirs shop in departure hall, Ticket office and Cafe on the first floor of the terminal.
The only airport in Western part of Lithuania currently offers direct connection to Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo (Norway), Riga (Latvia) and Moscow (Russia). Using the connecting flights from Palanga it is easy to reach a lot of other cities in Europe and other destinations.
